The Model of Water and Nitrogen Coupling in Winter Wheat Yield

Zhai Bingnian,Li Shengxiu

Strategic Study of CAE 2002, Volume 4, Issue 9,   Pages 69-74

Abstract:

By using the quadratic general spinning design, pot experiments were conducted to study the comprehensive effect of the stage and rate of N fertilizer application under different status of soil moisture on winter wheat yield systematically. The results showed that the mathematical model established based on the result of experiments is significant. By analysing the mathematical model, the soil moisture, tillering and jointing stage were thought to be the remarkable factors, while the influencing sequence from large to small is: soil moisture > tillering stage > jointing stage > milking stage > seedling stage; The interaction effects exist between different factors.

Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering 2012, Volume 6, Issue 3,   Pages 428-436 doi: 10.1007/s11783-012-0401-3

Abstract: Batch denitrification tests in a biofilm reactor demonstrated that dual-contaminated river water wasshort of available electron donor, which resulted in low total nitrogen (TN) removal by denitrificationdenitrification rate was increased significantly by adding glucose or by making the organic matters of the river waterPhotocatalysis for 15 min increased the Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) of the river water from 53 to 84This phenomenon was verified by testing photocatalysis of pyridine added to the river water.
